Hello, once again all!
As I have been searching the Internet for digital art marketplaces, I have gathered a growing list of sites to visit, either as a collector or as an artist. If you are trying to spend wisely in either role, some due diligence is advised.
This is mainly just a list, for now, I will have individual and group reviews coming in the next few weeks.
Here are the markets with a one-line impression of the site:
Makersplace.com: Good interface, very good art
Superrare.co: Also excellent art. Good search feature but some functions require linking of a digital wallet.
Opensea.io: Maybe the best search functionality. Hosts its own art but also combines other markets into one site.
Rarible.com: A wide variety of art and other digital collectibles with a good search feature.
Foundation app: High-quality art with a nice live auction interface.
Outside of CryptoPunks, and some other more-specific sites (for plots of digital land and sports trading cards), these are the largest art markets I have found so far. I also will be investigating others shortly.
So, check these out while you wait for my next newsletter with another great piece I’ll be showcasing (Coming tomorrow)!
